Your Guide to Glenview Homes’ Pre-Drywall Walk-Through
Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for your walk-through.
What Is the Pre-Drywall Walk-Through?
The Pre-Drywall Walk-Through is a complimentary guided tour of your home during the early construction phase, offering you the chance to view the electrical wiring, plumbing, and HVAC systems before they are enclosed.
This is not an inspection. It’s an opportunity to observe the progress of your home, guided by a Glenview Homes representative, and gain insight into how your home is being constructed.
Why Is It Important?
- See Progress in Action: Witness your home’s layout and structure before the drywall is installed.
- Understand Your Home: Get a closer look at how the key systems—like wiring, plumbing, and HVAC—are being built into your home.
- Experience the Journey: Enjoy this unique phase of the home-building process.
How to Prepare for Your Walk-Through
Follow these steps to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience:
- Dress Appropriately: Wear closed-toe shoes—no sandals, flip-flops, or high heels. Glenview Homes will provide safety gear like hard hats for the tour.
- Limit Attendees: This is a private, focused walk-through designed for up to two adults.
- Wait for the Team: When you arrive, please stay in your car until your Glenview Homes representative meets you.
- Be Mindful of Time: Walk-throughs typically last about 30 minutes, so plan accordingly.
Courtesy Reminders
- Safety First: Construction sites are active areas, so please follow all on-site safety protocols and instructions from your Glenview Homes representative.
- This is a Behind-the-Scenes Look: At this stage, we walk you through the inner workings of your home, showcasing its systems and structure. Please note that no changes to your home’s construction can be made during this phase, as all design and structural decisions have been finalized.
We know how meaningful it is to see your new home come to life. This walk-through is an important step on the journey to move-in day, and we’re here to make it memorable and enjoyable for you.
